In designing this show, we wanted the audience to feel familiar with the recognizable characters but elevate their costumes in a way that highlighted their individual personality within their familial morbid traditions. Concepts for designing this show was the idea of them growing from the ground, being rooted in earthly traditions, existing in their own time and space, and playing with  textures in a way that shows macabre the of their characters  in contrast the the "normal" Beineke family that comes to dinner.
